Daniels Run Park

I went to this park to avoid getting on a highway and paying a toll.  Love my gps.  I only walked on one portion of the trail, here are the pictures and video.  Enjoy!

College Park Diner

I went to this diner because it was on the way to D.C.  I ordered a egg sandwich and turkey sausage.  The sandwich tasted great and the sausages tasted good but the sausages were puny.  Overall I liked the place.  Cost under $7 if I remember correctly

Senate Garage Fountain

This fountain is near union station in the lower senate park.

Fine Sweet Shoppe (DC)

This stand in Eastern Market had a variety of baked goods including bread, cookies, and pretzels.  I bought a brownie and a milkshake both tasted great.

Freedom Park

I went to this park and completely missed a memorial that I was looking for I'm not sure how I did it but I did.  I didn't walk far enough.

The memorial I'm talking about is the freedom forum journalist memorial.

Now about the park and what I didn't miss.  The park is built into the side of a building and features well kept plants and trees.  A bocci court with an amazing view of Washington DC.  I still do not remember my rational for not taking a picture.

This park is in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington Virginia.  Rosslyn is near I-66.

Joe Benny's

I found this restaurant rated 5 stars on a couple different social media sites.  I decided at the last minute after visiting the national aquarium (1, 2, 3) to eat at this restaurant to see if the hype was true.

I walked into Joe Benny’s in Baltimore’s Little Italy Section for Supper.  I knew full well that eating around supper would probably make me late for an Oriole’s game I was attending in the evening.  I stood around for ten minutes and finally an older lady put my name on the waiting list.  She got me some water and she gave me a menu.

 

This Italian Restaurant focuses for the most part on meatballs and Sicilian Pizza.  I was seated outside at their only table.  I wasn’t thrilled about this since I wanted to experience being inside the restaurant.  The waiter was very helpful and his food recommendations were great.

I ordered the meatballs with bread and the Sicilian Pizza with meatballs.  The meatballs tasted awesome and the bread tasted great.  The pizza was amazing it’s literally the best Sicilian Pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life.  The hype is real about this place.  The service near above average; the food, amazing.

Penn Station Baltimore

The architecture of this station is beautiful.  I really like the columns outside and its grand scale.

The inside is beautiful with the stained glass windows.

The only negative about this station, its not close to downtown Baltimore.

I didn't stay long because I was illegally parked.

This food stand in Eastern Market (DC) has a pretty big menu.  I picked the Carolina Chicken BBQ.  The que tasted great but the coleslaw tasted horrible.
