Suitcase Packing: Weekend Trip

This series of pictures is an example of how to pack for a weekend trip in this case I was packing for life weekend a retreat.  I normally wouldn't pack hangers but I had no idea if the retreat center had hangers, they ended up having hangers.

Keren Cafe & Restaurant

This is an old post that never got posted.

I got a vegatarian dish at this Ethiopian Restaurant.  The taste was good but it was a little spicy.  Here are some pics.

Indonesia Embassy

The embassy looks nice from the outside.  I like the red top of the building and the 4 cement things at the top.  I have no idea what their called.

This Mexican Restaurant on Florida Avenue (nw) in Washington D.C. is authentic.  I ordered two tacos, Chorizo and Pastoral both tasted great.  I would definitely come back here or go to the Columbia Road Location in D.C.

Mozambique Embassy

The architecture of Mozambique's Embassy building is nice.  I like the red brick at the bottom of the building and the circular windows at the top.  I've never been inside so I have no idea how they treat people.

Salt & Sundry

This store is located within union market in Washington DC.  They had a bunch of cool stuff and if I ever go back I'll buy some of that stuff.  I bought two things for a graduation gift the card and the garden deck which is pictures of various plants and information on how to plant them, etcetera.  I found the parking situation horrible.  I think their was a national's game and everybody seemed to park their... or near the market.  I guess going on a Sunday morning serves me right.  I drove around for 30 minutes trying to find parking.  I eventually parked probably half a mile away.  They do have parking at the market.  The chocolate chews were addictive.
